My work is built on two elements: more than twenty years in the factory working as a production and process engineer, interspersed with academic training in visual language and media. The result is an appreciation for the natural vocabulary of processes and materials.

The factory also influences my preference for functional pieces and details. I would rather you walk by my work everyday, sit on it, grow a vine on it, or use it to open the door than have to go to a museum to see it. Perhaps I hope to influence society by contributing intriguing objects to everyday situations.
